Star Trek Picard | Season 2 episode 9 release date

Star Trek: Picard season 2 is now on the home stretch, with eight episodes available to watch and just two more yet to air.

This season, which has sent Sir Patrick Stewart's titular captain on a journey through time to stop the villainous Q, marks the mid-way journey through the show's three-season arc, with the final season already confirmed and in the can.

The eighth episode, titled Mercy, landed on Amazon Prime Video last Friday, and the ninth, Hide and Seek, will drop this week.

Despite the season coming towards its end, Trekkies needn't worry - along with the third season of Picard, a new Star Trek series, Strange New Worlds, is also in the works to be released later this year.

With the next episode of Star Trek: Picard season 2 set to land on Friday, here's a full rundown of the show's release schedule.
